Appearance

Speckles stands at 5'8 with a slender build. She possesses a glacier blue complexion with peach-colored patches on various different spots on her body, a curved nose, and large, dark blue eyes. She has long, curly, dark blue hair tied into a ponytail. Her gemstone is located on the center of her chest.

Her outfit consists of a midnight blue crop top with a matching skirt, and a yellow undershirt.

Personality

Speckles is always full of energy and always looking for adventures. She would much rather use her powers to have fun than to terraform or brawl, though she doesn’t mind getting into fights occasionally. She’s loud, bombastic, playful, and a big goofball who always seems to be getting into trouble due to her mischievous ways.

History

Speckles was created 5,500 years ago on Yellow Diamond’s Saturn colony. As with other Lapis Lazulis, Speckles was created with the purpose of being a terraformer. Though she followed orders given to her and obeyed her superiors, she never really bought into the propaganda fed to Homeworld Gems and always had a little bit more individually to her. Because of her mischievous nature, she would frequently get into trouble with her superiors. A few years prior to the dissemblance of Homeworld’s society, she met and fell in love with a Jasper named Swirls. The two would spend time together in secret in between missions, and occasionally fused together. Upon the dismantlement of the Gempire, Speckles and Swirls have chosen to live their life as a permafusion, continuing to work for Yellow Diamond as a galactic bounty hunter of sorts.

Abilities

Swirls possesses standard Era-1 Gem abilities; bubbling, shape-shifting, fusion, regeneration, agelessness, and superhuman strength/durability.

Summoning Weapon - Shovel: Speckles’ summoning weapon is a dark blue shovel. She can’t do much with it, but it’s good for digging graves!
Unique Ability - Láspikinesis: Speckles has the ability to shape, create, and manipulate mud, an ability she is well adept at using.
Unique Ability - Enhanced Speed: Speckles is able to travel large distances in a short amount of time, helped by her ability to create mud wings.
